What is the difference between wireframes and mockups?

I would like to know the difference between Wireframes and Mockups. I'm hoping to gain a simple understanding of the difference or to definitively know that both are the same.I googled it but I couldn't understand what exactly the difference is, I would appreciate it if someone could explain it to me concisely.

Wireframe are like the skeleton of the project and can include the layout of where different elements of the design will go e.g. wireframes are commonly used when designing a website. Mockups are like model of whatever it is that you have made, typically used to demonstrate how your designs will look or be implemented e.g. using the design of that finished website and integrating it into an image of a laptop/browser.
