Should I apply to college after deadline?

Long story short a college emailed me say even through the fall of 2019 application deadline has passed I could still apply. I wasn’t expecting this at all so I’m completely stuck on what to do. I only have like a few weeks to write and essay and submit something. Should I try or not? 

Cons to applying now: 

Didn’t file for fasfa 

No scholarship opportunities 

Have to Move out less than month end of August 

Haven’t seen school in 3 years

Don’t know a lot about what the program has to offer

Have to Find housing and apply for classes ASAP 

If I didn’t get in it would look bad to apply for a 3rd time 

Looks bad applying after deadline 

Pro to applying now :

Save time don’t waste a whole year 

Would have a plan for my life

Not sure if I could even find a job if I didn’t go

Application fee waived 

It would take 3 years of schooling vs 4

Hi Jill,

You should seize the opportunity and apply. If you can pay for it and if there are some available fellowships as well, then do it. If for whatever reason you cannot matriculate immediately in the Fall, then you can defer. Confirm this with admissions.

On another note, often times, universities won't publicize all of their fellowship opportunities, so you have to be very proactive. I hope that this helps.
