I'd be glad to help, but you need more information. You need to include the standard deviation for the both the male candidates and the female candidates.

Thank you very much for your reply. This is a real-case scenario. It's about the IELTS examination where I was one of the test takers. 5 million students appeared in an exam. The total marks of the exam were 9.0. Mean score of male candidates: 5.55/9.0 Mean score of female candidates: 5.66/9.0 Mean score of male and female candidates: (5.55+5.66)/2= 5.60. As we know, that IELTS exams markings are in terms of 0.5. Therefore, any student appeared in the exam could have got - 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0. How many students or what percentage of students scored 7.5?
