What's the difference between the Thai words ว่า and ที่, which both mean "that", "which", etc?

The word 'ว่า' is a conjunction used to connect a main clause and a subordinate clause. For example,

เขา พูด ว่า เขา ชอบ อาหารไทย

He says that he likes Thai food.

As for 'ที่', although it is categorized as a conjunction in the Royal Thai dictionary, it is used as a relative pronoun (that, which, who, where, etc.). For example,

เขา เป็น นักเรียน ที่ พูดได้เก่ง

He is a student who can speak well.
