I’ve been stuck on this for quite some time

Question

1. Suppose you are designing and conducting a poll to see which of the Congressional candidates are popular in your area.
2. the population that you are trying to predict,
3. where and how are you selecting your sample,
4. what sampling method would you use,

so this means I have to poll up the residents in my area so that means 22,000 but I would only get a sample of 250. Am I doing this wrong ?

YOu can sample 250, but it must be a representative sample.

YOu cannot have all 250 from the same place.

I would use several different zip codes if possible
