Can the GED test be repeated if you passed it?

You are allowed to retest for a higher score on tests that you have already passed in the United States. However, the discounted retest policy only applies to tests you did not pass. https://ged.com/faqs/test-retakes/

Depending on the state you live in, GD restricts 3 retake attempts per year, and each retake is subject to a 60-day waiting period. In Maryland, students are limited to 3 test attempts per year. If you fail on your third attempt taking a GED exam, then you must wait 60 days to take the test again.
