Both are acceptable. However if only these two options available then I'd suggest the first one. Why ?
Because it is more casual than the second one.
Let's break it down the explanation;
1.Apa kamu mau menikah dengan saya ?
Apa : What
Kamu : you
mau : want
menikah : marry
dengan : with
saya : I, my
1.Maukah kamu menikah denganku ?
Mau : want (adv)
kah : this is added in the end of the adverb (or a word which explain the verb) in a question
kamu : you
menikah : marry
dengan : with
ku : me, my (originally: Aku/saya )
for example;
My name is ---
Namaku adalah ---
OR
This book is mine
Buku ini punyaku
Bahasa Indonesia has 2 styles of languages, the 1st one is FORMAL and the 2nd one is INFORMAL.
Formal language easily be found on news paper, writing to clients and NEWS.
Meanwhile Informal language use for daily conversation, texting your family/friends/coworkers or even during business meeting.
So in this case, Apa kamu mau menikah dengan saya sounds formal and Maukah kamu menikah denganku is informal.
But again, these two are acceptable, it depends on the situation and how do you approach it.
I hope this helps. If you have questions please send me a message or book your lesson! I hope to talk to you soon!
Thank you :)
