How can I calculate a t critical value using a TI-84?

You'll need to know two things in order to find the t-critical value using your calculator, "the area to the left" and the degrees of freedom.
- The "area to the left" is 1 minus the level of significance for a one tailed test and (1 minus level of significance)/2 for a two tailed test.
- The degrees of freedom is sample size minus one.
