1). Silver sulfide + hydrochloric acid. This reaction will not take place because silver is below hydrogen in the activity series (less reactive than hydrogen). Ag2S(s) + 2HCl(aq) ==> no reaction
2). Bromine + sodium chloride. This reaction will not take place because bromine is less reactive than chlorine, so it will not displace the chlorine. Br2(l) + 2NaCl(aq) ==> no reaction.
