One way to get 24 is 3 x 8.

 

You can get 8 by dividing by 1/8.

 

You can get 1/8 by subtracting 7/8 from 1.

 

You can get 1 by adding 5/8 and 3/8.

 

So: 3 divided by (5/8 + 3/8 - 7/8) = 24
