a 12-foot ladder reaches 9 feet, 6 inches up a wall, how far up would a 20-foot ladder reach at that same angle?

This is a geometry question I'm stuck on . I thought I knew the formula but I'm blanking. thanks for your help!

Let h = the height of the 20 foot ladder against the wall:

 

9.5        h

----  =  -----

12        20

 

(20*9.5)/12 = h

 

Solve for h.
