Call the base x, then the other 2 sides are 4x+2 so
x + 2(4x+2)= 94
x+8x+4=94
9x=90
x=10 so the sides are 10,42 and 42

The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 94 feet. Each of the congruent sides is 2 feet more than four times as long as the base. Find the length of each side of the triangle.
