asked 05/15/19Point M is the midpoint of point A and B. The coordinates for A are (3,-8). The coordinates for B are (5,-2.5). Please help me. I know what the midpoint formula is, and I know how to find the midpoint. I've never done this before, and never been taught. Please help. :

If (x1,y1) is A and (x2,y2) is B, then the midpoint is [(x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2]
Have you had geometry yet? If so, remember the so-called Side-Splitter Theorem. It is the basis for the answer I have given you.
