B. Bob serves as the mayor of his town.
Although it's on a smaller scale, local government can resemble national government. Mayors can serve as representatives of their communities to state government. The mayor's role also can be considered legislative as well as executive depending on how a city or town's government is structured. For example, much like how the President can veto bills created by Congress, the mayor can veto ordinances made by city council members ( city council can override the mayor's veto just like Congress can do to the President!). As far as legislative examples go, a mayor can be the representative of city council and carries out policies created by the council. In other words, if the mayor is in a leglesative government, he's more of the spokesperson.
