One way to get a better speaking score is to relax and imagine that you are just chatting with a friend when answering questions. This will help you sound more natural when you speak. I've noticed from my students during our mock speaking test that when they are nervous, they tend to forget what they want say which leads to a lot of pauses and dead air so their fluency suffers. I know taking a test is nerve-wracking but with enough practice with someone who can guide and motivate you, this is achievable.
Another thing, when doing part 2, avoid repeating the task statement but instead paraphrase it. This gives you a chance to show your range of vocabulary and the level of grammatical structures that you know. One exercise that you can do is to mind map words related to the topic and that examiners expect to hear from you.
Hope this helps!
