-6.000 5.738 ======= Starting at the last zero, I borrowed from the the 2nd zero 10-8=2 The 2nd zero is now a 9 because I borrowed 9-3=6 the 1st zero near the decimal point was changed to 9-7=2 .262 I grew up working these from the rear but I think it is easier as shown by other tutor to take a 1 from the 6 and turn it into a 1005/17/19
