Taking the square root of 1152 tell me that a square of about 34 cm on a side could represent rectangle A. So by trial and error, I looked for dimensions close by like 32 x 36 cm, and found those dimensions have an area of 1152 cm2. Dividing each dimension of rectangle A by 4 gives 32/4 = 8, and 36/4 = 9. So, a rectangle measuring 8 x 9 cm (one-fourth those of rectangle A) has an area of 72 cm2.
