Architect that tutors anything design related
There are many aspects that make FLW's architecture influential. Here's a list of some things he is mostly known for:
- Building with nature as opposed to building in a way that supersedes the nature surrounding the architecture. Example: Falling-water
- Open floor plan. FLW was very influenced by Japanese architecture and their sense of spaces within spaces in openness.
- Immense attention to detail. FLW designed everything from the foundation and structure all the way down to the tapestry and fine china for his buildings.
- His theories about how skyscrapers should be as high as possible so that green-space would be maximized and urban sprawl would cease. The Burj in Dubai, and all the future mile high + buildings are influenced and created with FLW's ideology about this.
- His Shotgun homes during the depression. Efficient mass production of architecture.
- Frank Lloyd Write also influenced generations of architects such Richard Neutra, Schindler, etc with his architecture schools. These architects that studied under him would go on to influence even more architects of the next generations.
