Professional AutoCAD Tutor For Architecture & Interior Design
I agree with the other professionals on this topic by saying Revit is better.
The reason I am saying that Revit is better because its the standard BIM software in the US compared to Archicad which is more popular in Asia & Europe.
Not to mention, Revit is an American product compared to Archicad which is a German product as of now (Being a company under Nemetscheck Group).
Features wise and usability, Archicad has a better reputation when it comes to speed while Revit can get slow real quick if the user is not building the project in a proper workflow.
Integration wise, Revit has a better reputation being an Autodesk software and can work nicely with other design software from the same mother company (Autocad, Autocad Civil 3D & 3Dsmax). Autodesk is certainly the leader in AEC design software with their huge portfolio of different solutions.
I need to mention that I haven't personally used the Archicad software myself but rather these are the opinions of my peers around the globe who have used both software and went on based on what's more popular in their industry in their geographic location.
I hope this helps!
