Hi there!
CLEP exams are used to obtain college credit for certain general education courses in the United States. If you intend on applying to university in the US, the CLEP exams might be worth your time. Each university has a different policy. Many large research universities will no longer allow CLEP exams to count for general education course credits, but they will allow it to count for "elective credit." Elective credit just means that if you need 80 credits to graduate, then one CLEP exam will count for 3 credits.
That said, don't fret if you can't take CLEP tests in Bangladesh; CLEP tests are only used for credit equivalency and they do not usually count in admissions decisions.
If you intend on going to college in a country outside the US, CLEP is probably not a worthwhile test to take.
