Area and perimeter

a semi-circle sits on top of a rectangle to form the figure below. Find it’s area and perimeter. Use 3.14 I don’t have that sign that they use

So, hopefully you know how to find the area and perimeter of a rectangle and a circle. Of course, we call the perimeter of a circle the circumference. A semi-circle is HALF a circle, and the side of the rectangle that the semi-circle sits on is the full circle's DIAMETER, since it runs through the center of the circle.
