Dilution Concentration

I am performing an experiment where I have to choose a dilution series ranging from 0.050 to 0.500. I chose 0.350, 0.250, and 0.150.The responses I give must have the same number of significant figures as the assigned concentration range. Would I use 2 or 3 significant figures?

Since the assigned concentration of 0.050 has only 2 sig.figs., you would limit your dilutions to that number of sig. figs. But also, your values do not cover the assigned range, since you go from only 0.15 to 0.35.
