Some seem to apply Einstein's Theory of Relativity where there is no absolute reference. Any point in space is as much the "center" as any, so why not the earth?
Then there's arguments about radiation in space making it impossible to reach the moon for humans, plus a very possible fabrication of that first space flight, given the dangers of losing to the Soviet Union, so they staged a simultaneous fake Nevada moon landing, to avoid any possible disaster on the real moon landing.
If string theory has problems, so do lesser dimensions?
I'm not into flat earth stuff, but any real scientist has an open mind, and closed minds prevent a real exploration of alternatives to our current theories.
