The diameter of a circle is 2 times its radius. Use this simple formula to solve for the radius of the circle:
D = 2r or diameter = 2 x radius
in this case, 11cm = 2 x radius
divide each side by 2 : 11cm/2 = 2 x radius/ 2
This gives you: 11cm/2 = radius or 5.5 cm = radius
