Architect that tutors anything design related
General university rankings matter as a generalization. More importantly, you look to see the curriculum of the university to see if it is a good fit. With architecture, every university approaches things differently. For example, Princeton is mostly theoretical with only having 2 design courses and the other 6 design courses are writing and research about design. Berkeley on the other hand is all about sustainable architecture and technology. MIT focuses on engineering and structure. Yale is traditional modern. SCI-ARC features robotics. USC takes a more vocational, practical approach, etc, etc.
It is also essential to look at the faculty of the architecture school, as most architects teach. Schools in major coastal cities probably have your favorite architects teaching. For example: My last year at UCLA architecture, I had Frank Gehry and Thom Mayne for professors.
