We know Sec^2(X) -Tan^2(X)=1 Then we factor (sec x + tan x)(sec x - tan x)=1 Because: sec x + tan x = 1 so sec x - tan x = 1 1/cosX- Sinx/cosx=1 1-sinx= cosx (1-sinx)^2=1-sin^2(X) 2sinx(sinx-1)=0 Then, Sinx=0 we know X=0 Sinx=1 we know X=pai/2 (90)
