I have to perform a monologue that I hate, and I can't find a way to perform it without getting mad

I auditioned for a role to read a monologue, and I got in, but I couldn't choose what I'm performing. (All of the monologues were written by students in my school) I ended up getting a monologue that I hate, which has NO emotion and is literally just a rant about how my generation (Gen Z) is lazy and unimaginative. I hate when people over-romanticize the past and act like my generation will amount nothing because we like video games. The teacher that was holding the auditions is also one of my teachers, and he said that he chose that monologue specifically for me, but I can't wrap my head around the monologue.
