There is no minimum age for taking the TOEFL test, although test-takers who are 15 years old or younger are encouraged to bring an adult who will be required to complete and sign a release form at the test center. Be aware that there is also a TOEFL Junior test, which is designed for ages 11-15, although 11-15 year olds may also take the regular TOEFL test.
