this is an easy question just want to make sure i am doing it correctly please help 15! / 10!
The exclamation point (!) is used to denote factorial, the product of all the integers from 1 up to the number (or of the number down to 1).
15! = 15 * 14 * 13 * 12 * 11 * 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1
10! = 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1
So, 15! / 10! allows common terms in the numerator and the denominator to be cancelled. That leaves:
15! / 10! =15 * 14 * 13 * 12 * 11
