Actually the healing tool is more than one tool. They all do the same thing. We all know of Cut / Paste. Healing Tool is a way of applying this effect over an area as it melds / matches / smoothes the effect all at once. This means that you do not have to go over and over to get a smooth image replacement. Instead you pick the necessary one needed. Spot means that the system will smooth over the image based on an area that you select as most compatible. Healing brsuh is where the system will average out and smooth the image for you. All you do is run the brush over an area. Then the system does the work for you.
