asked 04/25/19Task is to Find m angle 2
Method 1:Find a measure of an angle of a hexagon first
The sum of the measure of the interior angles =(6-2)180 or 720
The measure of one interior angle is 720/6 or 120
The measure of its adjacent exterior angle , angle 1 is 180-120 or 60
Method 2 :find the measure of an exterior angle directly
The sum of the measure of the exterior angle is 360
The measure of one exterior angle , angle 1 is 360/6 or 60

A hexagon has 6 sides; so each of the 6 center angles=60deg.
There is now 6 triangles. One triangle has 180-2x deg.=center angle. So 180-60=120
120/2=60
Each triangle has 3=sides and 3=angles of 60 deg.
The outer angles each are 120 deg. So 120*60=7200deg (outer angle sum).
