Look up standard reduction potentials for each reaction, and the subtract the cathode value from the anode value. If the result is positive, it is a voltaic cell. If negative, it would be electrolytic. I believe in the example given, the cell will be voltaic with a standard cell potential of approximately 0.5 V

The result was to be -2.19 V and electrolytic I'm not sure where we went wrong as I got 0.53 V as well?04/25/19
