Increase it's torque. Higher torque creates a quicker turning of the transmission gearing and the axles, which turns the wheels faster, therefore faster off the line.
Decrease the weight of the vehicle. This way you have a higher power-to-mass ratio. High power, less mass (or stuff that is in the car)
Modify the aerodynamics. Lower the car to increase its aerodynamics/decrease the drag from the air around the car.
