I created a video in movie maker from more videos I took using my canon 550d, but the file produced is an 11 minutes 806MB video. This is huge. Now, when I create the video using movie maker, it asks me for the bitrate and resolution.What are the recommended setings?If I create a video from 10 pieces that have a bitrate of X, can I create a video which has a larger bitrate?
You can export to any bitrate but if the encoded bitrate exceeds the recorded then the image will degrade. Best practices is to record at highest bit rate possible then DOWNCONVERT to a lower bitrate for uploading to YouTube or other online distribution. 1080p at 30 fps at 16mpbs will give you a great image anywhere.
