Sure. First I wrote the balanced equation. Next, I found moles C3H8 needed to react with 6.50 moles O2 by using the mole ratio of 1:5 in the balanced equation. Then, after finding moles of C3H8, I converted that to grams of C3H8 using the molar mass of 44 g/mole. Does that make sense?

Jamara T.

so you found the moles of O2 first or first C3H8

You don't really find the moles of O2 since that is what's given. From that you find the mole of propane
