Be comfortable with your topic of discussion. If you are passionate about it, that is even better. Body language also matters (eye contact, being interactive with audience such as asking a few rhetorical question with a few seconds of wait time, dynamic, conversational use of speaking voice). Making a couple of appropriate jokes or telling a funny, appropriate story that you can relate to your topic of discussion.
