There's an old saying: "How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice." To that I would add, visualize, visualize, visualize.
If you have a presentation coming up, the week before you're to present, imagine yourself in the clothes you'll be wearing in the hall we're you're presenting. Visualize yourself as supremely confident and imagine your audience being attentive and receptive.
Do this every night before you go to bed and every morning before you wake. See what happens. You'll be stepping into your image of yourself as a confident, smooth speaker as easily as wearing a second skin.
