The GRE General Subject test consists of 3 different subjects divide over 5 sections. You will receive a score for Quantitative Analysis (Math), Verbal (mostly grammar and word definitions) and Writing, where you will have to write two short essays on a subject. As I recall, the complete test takes about 3 hrs. There are two math sections, two English/verbal sections, and one writing.
