What is the difference between 볼 and 뺨?

My dictionary translates them both as "cheek". Can they be used more or less interchangeably?

뺨 = Center of one's cheek.

볼= Soft flesh in the center of one's cheek

While they can be interchangeable, 뺨 is a bigger part of the cheek and 볼 is a smaller part and it can be puffed like a tiny balloon when you blow the air while closing the mouth
