First you must know your audience, know what type of questions you are going to ask so you can have a responsive audience. The last thing you want is speaking to an audience that is uninterested. Get them involved with questions.
The biggest thing about a speech is having the right attitude and confidence before going up. Learn the material and understand the possible questions that can be asked. Then your bulletproof.
