So. set them equal and solve for x.

3x + 21 = 5x - 35

-2x = -56

x = 28

<1 is 3x + 21

<1 is 3(28) + 21

<1 is 105°

<2 is 5x - 35

<2 is 5(28) - 35

<2 is 105° [that's good; they are equal]
