Interesting question this is. Hitler considered himself a socialist progressive who saw the German people paying exorbitant prices for very little food after World War I. Like many Europeans he was jealous of Jewish banks and their high usury rates. Since they to him took food out of Aryan mouths, he agreed with other socialist progressives that all intellectually inferiors should be gassed. He was also a eugenicist, bent on genocide, like the progressive Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood to erase the African-American race one abortion at a time. She was also a socialist progressive, except her goal was to eliminate one race rather than preserving just one. Those who doubt leftist like Shaw, Hitler and Sanger, only need to read their histories. The irony is that, even though Hitler was a socialist, many leftists call him a right-wing extremist.
