The y values will be the same for all four points, but the x values will be the additive inverse of the original x values.
For instance, if the original square ABCD is in quadrant I where x is positive and y is positive, then reflected across the y axis it will be in quadrant II where x is negative and y is still positive.
Also, the point with a positive x value closest to the y axis will remain the closest x value to the y axis but this time it will be a negative x value.
