Yes and no. The first section on the test is the NON-CALCULATOR SECTION. This section will test your basic knowledge of some of the fundamental principles of arithmetic, algebra and/or geometry. It's relatively short, and once you're done with it, you'll move on to the CALCULATOR SECTION. The only calculator allowed is the TI-30XS. You may buy one & bring it with you. (The proctor will take it away during the non-calculator section, then give it back for the calculator section.) If you don't have one, you can use the built-in calculator on the test.
