As a Landscape Architect, you have several options to follow as a career. First, you can open your own practice and a landscape architect, or work for a firm as such, the firm being a landscape architecture practice, or a large multidisciplinary A/E practice. as a recommendation, as a junior to mid level LA, don't work for a civil engineering firm if you are passionate about design. as a design professional, you also have an option to teach. teaching, is a great way to give back and as a teacher much self, I loved getting back into the studio culture helping students learn about our profession. finally, you can also work, as a product or sales rep for out door furniture, site feature manufacturers, such as pavers, benches etc... One last thing to also look into are nurseries, arboretum, national park services also employee landscape architects. If you combine your degree with a planning degree you can also work as a planner.
