A useful trick for this type of problem is note that the sum of three consecutive integers is 3 times the middle one.
So the middle integer is 54/3 = 18. The other two are 17 and 19.
These consecutive integer problems are appear frequently on SAT tests, so this type of trick is worth knowing.
