The Modern Greek alphabet is quite easy for English speakers to learn although there are a few sounds that Greek makes that English doesn't possess. Nevertheless, with practice, most students can learn how to pronounce all of Greek's sounds in a proper way. The Ancient Greek alphabet is more difficult because it had a pitch accent that requires a lot of practice to master. But it is still possible learn the Ancient Greek alphabet with relative ease since there are so few letters to learn and many match English perfectly (for example: Λ λ = L).
