What part of the coordinate plane is equidistant from the points A(-3,2) and B(3,2) explain?

I'm completely confused on this question & my family doesn't understand it either.

I noticed that the original points were A(-3,2) and B(3,2), so the correct answer I believe is the y axis. If you start with those points, and use Philip's procedure, you should get this result. Also, you can just plot these points on the coordinate plane and visually deduce that the y axis is the line of symmetry.

Oops, misread the two points.  I need stronger reading glasses.  Thanks for catching it, Ben.  I have corrected the solution.  Sorry for my error, Derrick.
