Find the mean and median

Find the mean and median of these numbers:

7, 12, 1, 7, 6, 5, 11

DANI F.

The mean is the average of the numbers: a calculated "central" value of a set of numbers. To calculate: Just add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are.

THE NUMBERS ADD UP TO 49. THERE ARE 7 NUMBER IN TOTAL. 49 DIVIDED BY 7=7. MEAN IS 7.

TO FIND THE MEDIAN. SET UP ALL NUMBERS IN ORDER FROM LOWEST VALUE TO HIGHEST AND THE MIDDLE NUMBER WILL BE THE MEDIAN:

1, 5, 6, 7, 7, 11, 12. THE NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE IS 7. MEDIAN IS 7.
