A rectangle is 8m longer than it is wide. If the length is increased by 2m and the width is increased by 2m, the area is increased by 68m squared, Find the original dimensions

A=w²+8w

(w+8)+2=new length

w+2=new width

A+68=(w+2)(w+10)

A+68=w²+12w+20

w²+8w+68=w²+12w+20

8w+68=12w+20

68-20=12w-8w

48=4w

w=12 m
